How it works

Horns Set: Point guard enters the ball to either elbow forward. Off-ball forward sets a back-screen for the weakside corner player.

  1. Point guard enters the ball to either elbow forward.
  2. Off-ball forward sets a back-screen for the weakside corner player.
  3. Guard cuts off the ball-handler to the basket or pops to the wing.
  4. Ball-handler attacks the closeout or hits the cutter/roller.

Coaching tips

Read the defense — if help collapses, kick to the corner. The screener must hold the screen until the cutter clears.
