How it works
Zone Flash Mid: Post player flashes from the weak side to the mid-post area. Guard passes to the flashing post at the mid-post.
- Post player flashes from the weak side to the mid-post area.
- Guard passes to the flashing post at the mid-post.
- Post turns and attacks the zone in the middle.
- Wing players open up on both sides for pass-outs.
Coaching tips
Zone flash mid is most effective against a 2-3 zone because the middle defender cannot stop a two-on-one. Flash when the zone is shifting.
